Cooking Instructions: Stovetop: Combine in 3-quart saucepan 2 cups water, 1 cup uncooked rice and if desired, 1 tablespoon butter or oil and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Bring to boil. Turn heat down low and cover with a lid. Simmer 15 minutes, or until all water is absorbed, Remove from heat and let stand covered for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork and serve. Note: For high altitudes, use slightly more water and allow 5 minutes longer cooking time. No rinsing or soaking required. Store in a cool, dry place. Pull to open.
