Heating Directions: Microwave: 1. Place rice pouch in microwave with seam side up. 2. Heat on high for 3-4 minutes. 3. Allow time for steam to ven, tear or cut open pouch and empty contents. Serve and enjoy. Note: Microwave ovens vary, pouch should balloon up with steam pressure and maintain this balloon state for about 30 seconds. Stovetop: Empty contents of rice pouch into a medium saucepan. Cover. Heat over medium-low and add water if needed. Stir frequently for 10-12 minutes, or until hot. For food safety, cook thoroughly to a minimum internal temperature at 165 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer. Since cooking appliances vary, these instructions are guidelines only.
