You can whip up delicious vindaloo in minutes with Mekhala's new Organic Vindaloo Paste, made with smoky chillies, tangy tamarind and a blend of spices. With its Portuguese/Goan roots, Mekhala's stone ground paste is incredibly easy to use, and makes cooking Indian food simple and quick.
Each jar contains concentrated paste made with wholesome ingredients sourced from small organic farms. 8 to 10 servings per jar.
Easy Vindaloo Recipe:
Brown 1.5lb/700gm diced pork shoulder/beef chuck (or eggplant). Simmer with 2 heaped tsp paste, 1 large diced tomato for 1 hour till soft. Add water if required. Also great as a marinade or stir fry paste for an Indian style meal.
Goes well with Sweet Potato, Tofu, Beef, Lamb, Eggplant, Pork, Chicken.
Spice level: 3 chilies (Spicy).
